Your information
We will not pass your personal details on to 3rd parties. This includes the charity you wish to support, whether a host or a guest. Neither will we pass your details onto any list brokers or anyone else, with the following exceptions:
1. our bank, the Charities Trust, which needs to pass on your details to the tax office in order to process Gift Aid (which adds 28% to your donation).
2. the credit card company if you are making a donation and only for the purposes of ensuring the security of your credit card
This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

Information we may collect from you
For the purpose of running the services on the site, we may collect the following data:
- Information that Hosts provide by filling in forms on our site www.partiesaroundtheworld.com - this includes information provided when registering as a Host, creating a Party Page, purchasing products (including the Invitation facility and printed materials) and making contact with PAW by email or phone.
- Information that Guests choose to provide by filling in forms, and record of their activity in donations, RSVPs etc.
- Activity of all Parent’s Forum users, and the details provided when registering as a Forum user.
- That collected from surveys which we may from time to time ask you to do onsite or through the Newsletter.
- Details of any transactions or donations carried out through our site.
- Details of your visits to our site and the resources which you access.
We may also retain email addresses and contact details, in those cases where permission has been given on the site for us to do so.
In those cases where a name, location or birth date has been supplied in association with an email address, we may also keep a record.
IP addresses and cookies
We may collect information about your computer such as your IP address, operating system and browser type. We may also use cookie files to assist in usage of the site.
It is possible for users to refuse to accept cookies by activating the appropriate setting on their browser. Unless you have adjusted your setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to our site.
Storage of data
All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using appropriate technology. Passwords and unique URLs will be issued for certain parts of the site, and users are responsible for keeping these confidential.
We take all reasonable measures to protect personal data, but we cannot guarantee absolutely the security of data transmitted to or through our site.
Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. Access to a Guest Party Page is considered authorised if the Host provides that guest with the unique URL created by PAW™ Limited for the purpose. Access is also considered authorised if the Host or any Guest passes this URL or details on how to view the Guest Party Page to any other party. PAW™ will not share information on how to access this page with any party other than the Host of a party.
All information included in the page is done so at the Host’s risk, this may include time and location of the party and the name and age of the child. The Host can always choose not to input this information into the website, if they feel the security measures PAW™ has in place are not sufficient.
We do not provide your information to third parties
Disclosure of your information
We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in Section 736, Companies Act 1985 (as amended).
We may disclose your personal information to third parties:
- in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;
- if all or substantially all of our business is acquired by a third party, in which case personal data about our customers will be one of the transferred assets;

Access to information
We have arrangements with the Charities Trust. The Charities Trust operates the secure server through which the donations are made. The Charities Trust may in providing these services process your personal data and you should therefore read their privacy policies.
Any changes we may make to our privacy policy will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
